Sei Petersen began restoring posters with Bill Tomlinson at GARO GALLERY in the early 80's while
pursuing a degree in lithography. In 1988 he relocated to Baltimore to open The Poster Repair Company.
For over 20 years he has expertly restored posters for leading collectors and dealers, as well as the
casual collector.
The Poster Repair Company employs a reversible wet mounting process:
Posters of any condition and size are gently cleaned and double mounted on Japanese MASA paper and
pure cotton duck, then restored with the finest water colours. Although MASA has become increasingly
expensive and sometimes difficult to obtain, we feel it is most important to use the best materials. You
will find that our mounting and restoring costs are very competetive.
We hope you consider using our services.
